Jesus saved her out of new age deception and she is now on a mission to expose the sticky trap of new age spirituality with her community after a supernatural experience with the Spirit of God. 

Most in the new age don’t label it that, they call themselves “spiritual” but not religious. 

New age is simply an umbrella term for a range of pagan spiritual practices and beliefs.

• Psychedelic’s (mushrooms/ayahuasca, etc)  
• Mediums
• Manifestation, law of attraction
• Kundalini
• Shadow work
• Burning Sage/palo santo
• Praying to the “Universe” 

What many don’t realize is that all these practice’s were founded and made popular by occultists / false religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, etc. And are a spiritual open door for Satan to come in and slowly destroy your life. 

Anton LaVey, the founder of the Church of Satan was quoted saying “But in all truth, all “New Age” labeling is, again trying to play the Devil’s game without using his internal name.” LaVey expressed his desire to see New Age practices reclaimed by Satanist’s and dedicated to their rightful owner, Satan himself. 

He also created a mystery school as a branch of the church of Satan and many of the above practices were required in order to pass. 

To understand the occult/satanic origins of new age practices and how they became popular in Western Culture, I recommend the book The Second Coming of the New Age, The Hidden Dangers of Alternative Spirituality in Contemporary America and its Churches. 

New Age is modern witchcraft repackaged as “light and love” to deceive Christians and non Christians alike. 

2 Corinthians 11:14-“And no wonder; for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.” 

Not only that, these practices  serve to keep you in an endless cycle of “self-healing” and away from the one true healer, Jesus Christ of the bible (God). 

“To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” -John 8:31-32

Spiritually hungry people believe they are healing and empowering themselves through these modalities when in reality, they are enslaved by them. The New Age IS a religion and it’s one based on your own works. 

Instead the gospel of Jesus Christ is simple. Abide in Him for our healing, salvation and restoration. 

God’s word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works. (Ephesians 2:8-9). 

Grace alone. Faith alone. Grace means that God loves, forgives and saves us not because of who we are or what we do, but because of the work of Christ. 

“These new age practices and even religion leave us with a works-based mentality, always performing and striving to become. That opposes the gospel message, which is receiving by faith and you are. 

When God is the source we are at rest. These new age practices rely on the system because they aren’t willing to surrender and trust God fully as their source. The mentality is I must do this and do that to be at peace and rest. Instead, choose to live by believing, not doing. The just shall live by faith. 

Choosing the lie that there is blessing outside of Jesus through works and methods rips you off from being fruitful and free of the curse. You are missing the revelation of Christ in you.” -Nissa Andrews
