✨⬇️I find that new clients I work with have ✨⬇️I find that new clients I work with have never heard of or experienced Conscious, Connected Breathwork.

These sessions are guided 40-60min experiences by a trained Breathwork Facilitator.

While on my healing journey to overcome breast implant illness, lyme and mold toxicity, I had been trying every modality of healing under the sun.

My nutrition, supplementation and exercise were all dialed in but I still wasn’t witnessing the breakthroughs I needed to accelerate my healing.

Then one day I came across a 2-day Breathwork workshop in Brooklyn, took the leap and went. 

What I experienced within those first few guided Breathwork sessions completely blew me away. 

A flood of stored memories, emotions and pent up stress from my nervous system and subconscious mind began to organically release.

And session after session as I uncoiled years of emotional suppression from my body, the physical healing accelerated.

It was the missing piece of the puzzle for me. 
And I find it’s the same for most of the students I work with. 

Because stress can build up over time, placing tremendous pressure on your muscles, organs, nerves and even your cells.

For some, this can lead to chronic pain, fatigue, anxiety, stress, digestion problems, sleeping disorders, panic attacks, anxiety or depression.

And Conscious, Connected Breathwork engages the nervous system to release tension and distress that negative thoughts and traumas cause in the body. 

Over time, healthier new neural pathways are developed and the nervous system is re-calibrated to bring optimal well-being.

✨⬇️Havening is a method of self-regulating y ✨⬇️Havening is a method of self-regulating your nervous system through touch. 

Massaging and comforting your own body signals neurochemicals in the brain like GABA, Serotonin, Oxytocin and more. 

And these feel good chemicals all work to naturally lower stress and bring your nervous system back into a parasympathetic space where healing can occur. 

The way I’ve been adding this into my Breathwork practice to bring in a sense of safety, reconnection and ease is through:

* Hugging myself
* Tapping my heart center
* Placing hands on my belly/womb space
* Massaging the tops of my thighs
* Rubbing my hands together

Because unlike meditation, during a Breathwork Session, the more that you move the more stress/emotional suppression you release from the body. 

This practice of Self-Havening Touch can be added to your morning routine, after meditation, after a shower or anytime you need to feel more grounded and safe within your body.🤍

We were never taught breathing practices or ways to experience inner-calm. 

Because of this we continue to live in a highly dysregulated state and believe that what we’re experiencing is because “we’re just getting older” or because of “genetics” 

And although these may play a small role in the way you feel physically and emotionally, the true ROOT cause often lies in chronic nervous system dysregulation. 

You are operating from a fight, flight or freeze response that likely started as an adaptation from something we experienced in childhood or adolescence. 

The good news is that you can heal this, but it’s going to take both commitment and consistency to begin living from a regulated nervous system and naturally lower chronically elevated cortisol (the stress hormone) levels. 

Because heightened stress levels = more inflammation 

And inflammation is the root cause of all disease. 

Breathwork in mindfulness and meditation is a powerful tool, but Conscious Breathwork Healing will accelerate your progress.

✨⬇️The autonomic nervous system is at the he ✨⬇️The autonomic nervous system is at the heart of our daily interactions.

So if there is unresolved trauma trapped within the body, it impacts our ability to feel safe connecting with others. 

This unresolved trauma keeps the nervous system trapped in an adaptive survival response. 

Meaning that when we are in a chronic state of hypervigilance, fight/flight, etc. it's nearly impossible to create safe, meaningful relationships with those around us because our nervous system is still in protection mode. 

Working with the autonomic nervous system through somatic work, movement therapy and breathwork can begin the journey of unraveling the suppressed trauma from the body. 

This work is about creating a sense of safety in the body so you can begin to let go and re-establish a sense of trust and connection.🤲🏻

Unraveling the old adaptive survival responses and slowly coming back to reconnection to self and the world around you.🤍

✨⬇️First time breathers are often surprised at how deeply reconnected they feel to their spirit during and after a full Breathwork Healing Session with me.

But within 10-15min you begin to release the analytical conscious mind, and instead access the limbic brain “feeling brain” along with unlocking the heart.

Through this process your ego melts away and you begin a journey of self-discovery within. 

Accessing and connecting to the core of who you are. 

Your true essence. 

This leads to what many describe as a “mystical” experience. 

Connecting to God, connecting to your spirit and feeling a sense of infinite love, freedom and internal peace post session that you didn’t realize was possible.

Remembering that fresh air, natural sunlight, clean water, stillness, and breath are all free resources that serve as the foundation for a healthy mind, body and spirit. 

And even though my yard is still a sand pit for the most part, I feel instantly more calm with my feet on the earth.🤲🏻🌳

As the science shows grounding will subtly shift your body from a sympathetic state of fight/flight back to a parasympathetic state of rest and healing.

✨⬇️ A nervous system stuck in dysregulation, ✨⬇️ A nervous system stuck in dysregulation, sends signals of fear to the mind even if there are no real present threats in your environment. 

And this faulty wiring of thoughts, actions and behaviors is based on what happened to you in your past. 

Because unresolved trauma and suppressed emotion is held within your body/nervous system.

So in order to begin healing irrational fears, anxiety, worries, intrusive thoughts, etc. you need to get back into the body.

A somatic approach towards healing could include: 

* Dance therapy
* Conscious Breathwork
* Somatic Awareness
* Mindfulness Meditation 

And talk therapy or coaching can be a great add-on to this somatic approach to give words to the feelings, sensations and emotions that begin to unravel from your nervous system.

✨⬇️When you want to quickly shift from a st ✨⬇️When you want to quickly shift from a state of distress to one of inner-calm, lengthening your exhale long and slow can leave you feeling more grounded within minutes. 

A 2018 study from the National Library of Medicine demonstrated this clearly: “During prolonged expiratory breathing (long exhale breath), parasympathetic nervous system function was significantly activated.” 

This practice is best for your daily practice as you build breath awareness within a guided meditation.

✨⬇️Many physicians, researchers and practiti ✨⬇️Many physicians, researchers and practitioners in the healthcare industry are now coming to understand the depth at which the mind, body and spirit are deeply interconnected. 

For example, cortisol, the stress hormone, is raised in most people. Leading to a chronic state of inflammation. And because inflammation is the root cause of disease, there is a direct correlation of mental/emotional distress and physical symptoms of imbalance. 

And because trauma is held within our nervous system and this impacts every aspect of our physiology from hormones, to digestion, to respiratory function, it’s essential we begin to understand the importance of healing at the root of our physical symptoms. 

Conscious Breathwork is a modality of healing that will facilitate a cathartic release of trauma and emotional suppression from the nervous system.

1) Regulate your nervous system with a breathwork practice
2) Journal 5 people, experiences or things you’re grateful for 
3) Fill your mind with uplifting books, podcasts, music, that nourish you on a soul level
4) Say “no” more often to protect your boundaries
5) Walk 1-3 miles while breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth

These are all practices I commit to DAILY⬇️

And the side effect has been an incredible amount of internal peace, even amidst the “busiest” time of my life. 

Consistency, commitment and intention is what it takes to uncover your peace.

Because underneath your emotional wounding, negative perceptions, and limiting beliefs is your TRUE self.

Authentic, vulnerable, full of joy, aligned and at peace.

But most have never experienced the inner-transformation of consistent, daily nasal breathing or the impacts of conscious breathwork healing for trauma and stress release. 

Our breath directly affects every aspect of our being from the mind, body and spirit.
