Making nourishing + delicious dessert/snack options is totally possible plus this recipe only calls for 4 simple ingredients!

If you want to kick it up a noche and try some seriously medicinal honey then manuka is absolutely incredible. With a host of nutritional benefit I have been consuming 1-2 tsp per day before bed as it also aids in melatonin production which helps you sleep like a baby.

Honey + Cinnamon Roasted Nuts
This hearty snack or dessert option will leave your entire home smelling like fall. Sweetened with honey + cinnamon, you will balance your blood sugar while getting a healthy dose of plant protein!
- 1 cup Raw almonds
- 1 cup Raw walnuts
- 1 Tbls Coconut oil (melted )
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Sea salt
- 1 Tbls Honey
Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees
In a medium mixing bowl toss in all ingredients expect for the honey
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the nut mixture evenly on the pan
Roast nuts for 10-12min (tossing halfway through)
While nuts are still hot out of the oven toss back into the mixing bowl and stir in the honey until evenly coated
Transfer back to baking sheet to cool and store in a air-tight container for up to a week.
